Eligibility and Application Process

To ensure that you’re well-prepared to succeed in the Upskill student program, we have specific eligibility criteria for both high school and university students. These criteria ensure that students are academically ready to take on the digital skills certification and benefit from the program.

Eligibility for High School Students:

  • WASSCE Requirement: To qualify for the student program, you must have sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in the current year or the previous year. For example, if you are applying in 2025, you should have your WASSCE results from 2024 or 2023.
  • Minimum Credit in 2/3 Subjects: You must have a minimum of a credit in at least 2 or 3 subjects in your WASSCE results to be eligible for the program. This ensures you meet the academic requirements to succeed in the digital skills training.

Eligibility for University Students:

  • Current Enrollment in an Institution: To qualify, you must be currently enrolled in a university or college at the time of applying. This ensures you’re actively pursuing your education and can integrate the skills you acquire into your academic and professional growth.
  • Transcript Submission: As a university student, you will need to provide a current or previous academic transcript from your institution. This helps us tailor your learning pathway to suit your current field of study and future career aspirations.
